Just What You Need
I’ve always loved art. The way the paint seems to dance and the sense of peace and joy it brings.
Over the years I’ve explored all the mediums, painting everything from abstract to loose art and even realism. I developed my own unique and unconventional teaching style, then shared easy step by step approaches with my students. The greatest reward has been, and always is, watching them grow in their art journey and create incredible paintings.

Hi, I'm Christina Watts, Your Paint Guide
I’ve instructed hundreds of classes throughout British Columbia and thousands online globally. Hosted the Just Paint It TV show, won art battle competitions, authored books, created paint lines, and ran an art shop in Prince George BC. None of which mean anything if I can’t get you to love painting too.
I believe painting offers insight into our souls and a break from the business of life. I’m excited to share with you all the techniques learned passed down from some of the masters plus a lot of unconventional tricks I have developed through my own experimentation.

Whether you want to paint a stunning landscape or be free to express yourself with visual art the benefits of painting extend far beyond the canvas. While this the class site we’ve also expanded our painty hands into, well, paint. For the past few years two lines have evolved that we love so much. Not just because we make it here in BC but because they are both beautiful, natural and are incredible to work with.
